The iPhone can be connected to the TV in two different ways. Either you use an adapter cable or you play content directly via wireless connection.

• The easiest way to access any TV via iPhone is to use an Apple TV. This is a small box from Apple that turns any TV into a smart TV.
• Just use Air Play to connect your iPhone to the TV in this case. To do this, use the share icon on the media and then tap on the AirPlay icon. This is the small TV with the arrow up at the bottom.
• Alternatively, you stream content from your iPhone to the TV by using the app of your TV manufacturer. The TV must be WLAN or Internet-enabled so that you can connect the app and the device.
• Manufacturers who offer such an app are LG, Panasonic, Philips and Samsung.
• If the manufacturer of your smart TV does not offer an app, you are best to use DLNA streaming. Auch hier gibt es mehrere Universal Apps, die DLNA unterstützen – unter anderem iMediaShare oder TV Cast.
