Win 10: SoundMixer allows individual volumes

The easiest way to find the SoundMixer is to enter a search in Windows: there, simply type "Soundmixer" to get the result "SoundMixer options". Click on this and you will find yourself in the settings. There you will see the central feature of the tool:

• With SoundMixer you can set the volume and the input and output devices for each application individually.
• Over all this is the main volume. You set the individual volume of individual applications as a percentage of the main volume.
• For example: If the main volume is set to 60 and you enter the value 50 for an application, this results in an absolute volume of 30 (because of 50 percent of 60).

This makes SoundMixer very practical if you prefer different volumes for different applications. The application is clear and straightforward, so you can make the changes you want without further training.
