Chrome for Android: These are the new tab groups

For some time now, Chrome for Android has been released with a whole new functionality. Read how the tab groups work and what you can do if you don't like the new feature.

In tab groups, you can group tabs together thematically.

• This makes it easier to keep track if you have many different tabs open.
• Within the groups, you can call up the individual tabs as usual.
• You can also open new tabs in a desired group.

Since the operation is quite intuitive and follows a simple system, many Android users have already made friends with the new feature. If you still want to disable the function, you have to enter "chrome://flags/" in the address bar for this, search for "Tab Groups" there via the search bar and set the entry to "Disabled".
