Most ships in Star Citizen have at least one bed. In this, the logout is possible; however, the intended effect did not appear for a long time. This is now fortunately different.

Among the many small advances that Star Citizen 2019 could register, is without question the logout in the bed. This may seem like an unimportant detail, but it has an impact on the game.

Star Citizen: Logout in bed ensures continuity

The bed logout has the following purpose:

• By logging out in bed, you wake up the next time you log in there.
• This is very convenient to continue your game seamlessly at another time and therefore provides continuity, which is important in the Persistent Universe.
• The logout in bed is possible both after landing on a planet (or moon) and in the middle of space. The only requirement is that you are a good distance away from other players and large stations.

The feature has existed for a long time, but almost never worked. With update 3.7, this has changed: Most players report waking up in their own ship's bed afterward, consistently.
