The costs at Patreon are made up of two factors, namely the chosen tariff and the payment processing. First, the look at the three selectable tariffs:- In Lite you pay 5 percent of the monthly income to the platform. At 1,000 euros, that would consequently be 50 euros. This is the price for your Patreon page and the communication tools you can use.
- In the Pro tariff, you pay 8 percent to Patreon, but you can access additional features such as priority customer support, analytics, promo tools and app integration.
- With Premium, Patreon receives 12 percent of your income. In return, you get a personal partner manager, merchandising options and team accounts.
- For each individual donation of over 3 euros you pay 3.4 percent plus a flat rate of 35 cents.
- For individual payments of less than 3 euros is the talk of micropayments. Here, 5 percent, but only 15 cents flat fee.
