The German e-scooter provider Circ has so far offered its electric scooters for rent in various major cities such as Hamburg, Berlin and Frankfurt am Main. The electric scooters, which have a maximum speed of 20 km/h, perform particularly well in tests because they are easy to ride and have good suspension. In addition, the Circ scooters are equipped with a bell and a holder each for a drinking bottle and a smartphone. If you want to charge your smartphone while riding, this is also possible with Circ thanks to the existing USB port.

How to rent an electric scooter from Circ

If you want to rent an electric scooter from Circ, you will need the Circ app. This is available free of charge and can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or the App Store.

1. Once you have installed the app, please open it and create a new user account.
2. Then search on the map within the app for an e-scooter available near you and unlock it by scanning the QR code.
3. Unlike other sharing providers, Circ gives you the option to book hourly packages for the use of the electric scooters.
4. You can choose between a 1-hour and a 2-hour package for 6 and 9 €, respectively, and a 24-hour package for 20 €.
