I am not a robot: turn off captcha

Many websites use captchas as a security measure to check whether an input was made by a human or a computer. However, if you find the constant appearance of the "I am not a robot" captcha annoying, here are tips on how to get around it.

I am not a robot: turn off captcha with Python script

Captchas usually consist of numbers, letters or picture puzzles and are used by many websites to determine whether an input was really made by a human. If you are bothered by the recurring captchas, you can usually not completely disable them, but you can trick them. One way to do this is to use a Python script developed by East-EE, which automatically fills in the captcha form.

How to turn off the "I am not a robot" captcha with an addon

Another way to prevent a captcha from appearing is to use an addon. Regardless of whether you use Firefox, Google Chrome or Internet Explorer, there are suitable addons for each browser. For both Firefox and Google Chrome, the free addon "Buster" is suitable. In addition, you have the option to search for an addon directly in the browser.
  1. If you use Firefox, this is done by opening the menu of the browser, go to "Addons" > "Discover addons" > "View more addons" and search there for "Captcha" to find suitable addons.
  2. Similarly, the search also works in Internet Explorer. Navigate also here to the menu and search under "Extensions" > "Browse more extensions" for an addon to block captchas.
  3. Users of Google Chrome can find suitable addons again via their own Chrome Web Store.
