Asus Zenfone 6: Rotate screen - how to do it

The Asus Zenfone 6 has a built-in feature that allows you to rotate the screen automatically. However, the screen will only rotate if you have previously enabled the feature on the device. You can find out how this works and which alternatives are available here.

Asus Zenfone: How to rotate the screen

While some apps only work in portrait format, using landscape format is especially recommended when playing games or watching videos. You can use the new Asus Zenfone 6 in portrait as well as landscape mode.

1. If you have activated the function of automatic rotation, you only have to turn the device to the right or left so that the screen also rotates.
2. If the function has not yet been activated, you can do so by opening the quick settings menu and tapping on the "screen icon".
3. Alternatively, you can also activate or deactivate automatic rotation via the settings. To do so, first tap on "Operating aids" and then on the option "Automatically rotate screen".

If you prefer to set the rotation of the screen for each app individually, there is also the option to rotate the screen of the Asus Zenfone 6 manually. However, the automatic rotation feature has to be disabled for this. If you have done this, the installation of an additional app is required.
