Word: Use reading mode - how to enable full-screen view

A reading mode is not only available in Word, but also in other applications such as Chrome and Edge.

How to turn on reading mode in Word

Reading mode can be quickly activated:

1. Open the "View" tab in the Word menu.
2. In the upper left corner, you will see the "Views" section. Select "Reading Mode".

The document now jumps to a new format and appears in full-screen view, completely without distracting margins and menus, but in full width if you have maximized the document. The reading mode is also noticeable in the smaller view, as all menu elements are no longer displayed.Only the content of the document is in the foreground in this mode. This also means that no editing is possible: Writing and other changes work only in the normal view, to which you can return at any time by pressing the "Esc" key.
