Decorations are absolutely essential in Monster Hunter World. In the expansion Iceborne it continues with it, and with an increase. We explain what the new decorations are and why they're so powerful.

In the main game Monster Hunter World, there were decorations with a maximum of three levels. Iceborne goes one step further.

Iceborne: Fourth level decorations as a great help

Many armor pieces and weapons in Iceborne have a fourth level slot.

• In such a slot, you can install fourth level decorations (optionally lower).
• The fourth level decorations are particularly strong: If you have a single skill, it is marked there with two points. In this way, you can get, for example, two artillery point with a decoration.
• Another variant are combinations of two skills with one point each. For example, with one decoration you can get Attack Power and Divine Blessing at the same time.

The biggest advantage of the new decorations is the flexibility it gives The system allows for completely different builds with many alternatives. By the way, most of the followers also get a new level; the upgrade is possible only after you finish the Iceborne story, since you can't get the materials before that.
