FREE NOW evolved from myTaxi, which had been around since 2009. The name change took place in 2019 and since then FREE NOW has been able to attract an even larger audience.

What is FREE NOW?

FREE NOW is an online mediation service between cabs and passengers.

• This way, there is no need to call one of the many cab centers anymore. With FREE NOW, you simply carry out the order via app.
• An important element here is that you always pay a calculated fixed price directly when booking, just like with Uber therefore.
• Under the umbrella of FREE NOW, various other services have emerged, such as the car sharing service SHARE NOW and FREE NOW Ride, where you can book a rental car including driver.

Headquartered in Hamburg, FREE NOW is a German company, but the business area now extends to more than a hundred cities in Europe. The number of German cities is almost 50, and the number of customers is estimated at over 14 million. The app is available for Android and iOS.
