iPad Reset: How to do it

If you want to reset your iPad, you can do it with a keyboard shortcut or in the settings. For the soft reset as well as with the hard reset, data can be deleted or technical problems can be fixed.

Simply reset the iPad

Without a key combination: alternative option to reset the iPad

Another option to reset the iPad is a hard reset. However, this is much more complex and cannot be performed with a simple key combination. In addition, this variant of resetting all data, apps and settings are deleted. For a hard reset, you need a PC with the latest version of iTunes and you have to connect your iPad to the computer via USB cable. You can start the hard reset by going to "iPad" > "Restore iPad" in iTunes.
