Google Maps: Submit reviews - this is how it works

On Google Maps, you can find testimonials and opinions from other users for virtually any location. In the same way, you can also contribute to the map service. Google Maps will automatically ask you for a review after visiting a particular place in some cases. You can also manually submit a review.

Reviews are now a very important aspect of Google Maps.

Google Maps: Submit reviews for any places

If you are not automatically asked for a review after visiting a place, then you can also do it manually. A new review or rating is done directly via the place on Google Maps.

1. Open Google Maps with a browser of your choice. Log in with your login details.
2. Search via Maps the place or establishment for which you want to submit a review. Now click on the corresponding business.
3. On the left side now appear various information. Scroll down further to the "Review" section. Here you will see the button "Write review".
4. Click on this, a small window opens. Here you can now write your review and add images if necessary. Außerdem ist es möglich, Sterne zu vergeben, je nachdem wie positiv Ihre Bewertung ausfallen wird.
5. Sobald Sie die Bewertung veröffentlichen möchten, klicken Sie auf „Posten“.
6. Möchten Sie bereits veröffentlichte Rezensionen einsehen, dann erfolgt dies über das Menü. Dieses können Sie über das Symbol mit den drei waagerechten Strichen öffnen.
7. Wählen Sie weiter unten den Eintrag „Meine Beiträge“ aus.
8. Öffnen Sie den Reiter „Rezensionen“.
9. Dort sehen Sie in chronologischer Folge alle von Ihnen erstellten Rezensionen und Bewertungen.
