Submit a complaint to the BNA - it's that easy

The Federal Network Agency is tasked with maintaining competition and promoting it. In this regard, it mainly refers to the electricity, gas, telecommunications, postal and railroad sectors. If you want to file a complaint that concerns these areas, you can do so in a few simple steps.

How to file a complaint with the BNA?

As the federal regulatory authority, the BNA is primarily concerned with regulating and reviewing free competition. In doing so, it has several areas of responsibility. For this reason, you must choose the right complaint form.
  1. If you have a complaint about electricity and gas, you must address it directly to your supplier. The Federal Network Agency gives you information to help you identify errors on the part of your energy supplier.
  2. If you want to complain about unauthorized advertising calls, about phone number abuse or about problems with switching providers, it is best to use the appropriate form on the BNA website.
  3. You also have to address complaints about the railroad directly to your carrier. You will find on the site of the BNA only the contact information of the responsible contact persons.
Would you like to file a complaint about your phone and the Internet provider, you can do that in any case. The Federal Network Agency can waive penalties of up to 100,000 euros if during a change of provider the system does not work for more than one day. However, you will need a copy of the termination confirmation and a copy of the porting order.
