In the new Galaxy Fold smartphone, the focus is entirely on the display. The large Infinity Display can be folded in the middle, so that you have the size of a small tablet available at the same time, without having to give up the practical dimensions of a smartphone. So far, the smartphone can only be pre-ordered. It is supposed to cost around 2,000 Euros, which is almost twice as expensive as conventional top smartphones. This year, the Galaxy Fold is mainly to show whether foldable smartphones can establish themselves. If the device is well received, cheaper models might appear as early as next year.
