Activate Avira product - how it works

If you have purchased a license key for Avira Antivirus Pro, Internet Security or Prime Version outside the Avira online store, you can activate the product via the software's license wizard.

1. Click the Avira icon in the taskbar to call up the main window.
2. Click the question mark icon in the top right corner and select the "License Management" option in the context menu.
3. In the License Wizard, you now have the option of either entering your license key and activating the product or renewing an existing license.

Alternatively, you can also purchase Avira products from the developer's online store. As part of the purchase, you must create an Avira customer account. Through the account, you can manage all purchased Avira products and download them for installation. An extra activation as with a license key is not necessary.

Reinstalling activated products - is that possible?

If you want to reinstall an already activated Avira product, this works with the help of your Avira user account.
