Apple Watch: Timer - how to use it
To use the Apple Watch as an alarm clock, the device has an integrated timer. This is set manually in the app of the same name on the smartwatch and can run for up to 24 hours. We show you the correct procedure for setting the timer in this guide.
How to use the Timer app on the Apple Watch
The Apple Watch has a built-in Timer feature that helps keep track of your time. Whether it's an alarm clock in the morning or during a workout, you can let the timer run for up to 24 hours.- To set a new timer, first open the Timer app on your Apple Watch by tapping the "Watch icon."
- Select a preset time there and start the timer by tapping on the respective timer duration.
- If you would like to set a custom timer duration instead, scroll down to the "Custom" entry in the Timer app and select it.
- Tap then on "Hours, minutes and seconds" and adjust the time by turning the Digital Crown.
- After selecting "Start", the timer begins and triggers an alarm after the set time.
