Sims 4: Influence gender - is it possible?

In Sims 4, as in the games of the series before, you can create different Sims or even entire families. Then you choose for them hobbies, relationships and even their careers. There may also be offspring between two Sims, but you can't decide the gender directly.

How to influence the gender of your Sim babies

In Sims 4 you can create relationships between two Sims. These can subsequently marry and also have children. However, when your female Sim is pregnant, it is only possible to decide the gender of the Sim baby to a limited extent. You have the possibility to influence the gender somewhat by certain actions during the pregnancy. However, this way you can only increase the probability of a gender, but not get it 100 percent.

1. If you prefer a boy as a Sim baby, try to let your Sim eat carrots during pregnancy.
2. Also, your Sim should listen to alternative music. So if you follow these two tips during pregnancy, you will automatically increase the probability of having a boy.
3. If you would rather have a girl as your Sim baby instead, you will have to do things differently to decrease the probability of having a boy and increase the probability of having a girl.
4. You should rather give strawberries to your Sim during pregnancy and listen to pop music from time to time.
