RimWorld: How to get stuff - these ways exist

Stock is one of the resources in RimWorld that doesn't seem too important, but is hard to get. After all, there are several ways to obtain the material. We summarize the possibilities.

Not to be underestimated: You use fabric to make important things like medicine.

Fabric is not a building material, nor is it needed for technology items. Still, it can't hurt to always have fabric on hand.

RimWorld: Fabric available in a variety of ways

It becomes clear pretty early on that you'll need fabric to make things like rugs, armchairs, and hats. The need becomes really urgent later on, as fabric is also needed for medicine. You can get fabric in several ways:

• In the beginning the best way is traders, from whom you can buy fabric.
• You can produce fabric yourself by planting cotton. When you harvest, you get fabric.
• In some drop capsules fabric is included, but this is hardly plannable.
• For the production of clothing, you can also use wool from animals such as alpacas or muffalos.

If you need large quantities, the own production of fabric is clearly the best and most reliable way. Hydroponics are ideal for this purpose, as they are productive all year round and do not depend on the weather. However, indoor planting requires a lot of resources, as components are needed and a lot of electricity is consumed. In the beginning, hydroponics is hardly feasible because of this, but later it becomes even more important.
