Laptops and tablets now go hand in hand in many ways. A lot of functions that were usually reserved for a laptop or a computer are often possible on a tablet as well. Not surprisingly, then, many users are switching from laptops to tablets.

Laptop or tablet: These are the differences

Laptops and tablets still differ significantly from each other. Probably the most concise point is the lack of a keyboard and mouse on a tablet.

1. Laptops are, even if there are now again further subdivisions, a computer with integrated keyboard, mouse and screen and can therefore be used perfectly for mobile occasions.
2. Tablets are initially just larger and more powerful smartphones with a similar range of functions.
3. Laptops usually run operating systems such as Windows, macOS and Linux, whereas tablets run, for example, iOS or Android.

Laptop oder Tablet?

1. Wollen Sie in erster Linie einen multimedialen Nutzen erzielen, wie etwa die Nutzung von Social Media oder die Wiedergabe von Serien bei Netflix, eignen sich auch Tablets hervorragend.
2. Laptops hingegen sind für das Arbeiten mit Computersoftware gedacht. Außerdem können für Computer entwickelte Spiele gespielt werden.
3. Ein Tablet hingegen unterstützt nur für mobile Geräte konzipierte Spiele.
