AMD Radeon: Release date of the 6000 series known

For most games the graphics card is the most important component in the system, not to mention other applications like graphics programs. AMD's upcoming 6000 models are all the more interesting.

AMD Radeon: Release dates for 600 cards officially named

The new AMD graphics cards appear at different times. Here is an overview of the cards presented and the respective release date:

• With the entry-level Radeon 6800, AMD fans should have an alternative to Nvidia's GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and 3070. The card will be released on December 8, 2020.
• The Radeon 6800 XT is the competitor to the GeForce RTX 3080, releasing on November 18, 2020.
• The Radeon 6900 XT is the top-of-the-line model and competes against the GeForce RTX 3090, but is significantly cheaper. The market launch is also scheduled for November 18.

Independent tests are still pending, but according to AMD benchmarks, the 600 cards seem to be on par with the GeForce 3000 models. However, the prices are consistently lower, which is an important point for many prospective buyers.
