Choosing the right tactics is more than challenging in Football Manager 2020. Fortunately, other players have already done the work and offer their results for free.

Football Manager 2020: How to install a ready-made tactic

To install downloaded tactics, there are two ways:

• Steam: Open the Football Manager 2020 workshop and simply subscribe to a tactic you like there.
• Without Steam: Manually you have a much wider choice, as sites like fm-base.co.uk and fmscout.com have special categories just for tactics. You can download these for free. You will get a file in with extension ".fmf". Move the file to the Windows folder "\Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020\tactics".

After that, click on one of the three tactics slots in the tactics view in the game and then click "Load". There you simply select the newly installed tactic.
