Resetting the Samsung Galaxy A90 - how to do it

If you keep having problems with your Samsung Galaxy A90, the only thing that often helps is to reset the device. For this, you can choose from three different methods on the Samsung smartphone. Which these are and how you use them, we explain here.

How to reset your Samsung Galaxy A90

If you have problems with your Samsung Galaxy A90, they can often be solved by restarting it. If, on the other hand, problems occur permanently, so that your smartphone crashes again and again or only responds slowly, it is recommended to reset the device. If your Samsung Galaxy A90 still responds to inputs, you can reset the device via the settings.
  1. First, open the settings menu of the Samsung Galaxy A90 and navigate to "Backup and reset".
  2. Tap there then on the option "Reset to factory settings" and confirm the execution of the hard reset by tapping first on "Reset device" and then on "Delete all".
  3. Alternatively, the reset of the smartphone is also possible via code entry. To do this, open the number pad and enter the following code: *2767*3855#

Resetting the Samsung Galaxy via recovery mode

If your Samsung Galaxy A90 can no longer be turned on, using the method described above is not possible. In this case, your only option is to reset the device via recovery mode. To do so, press and hold the "Power Button" and the "Volume Down Button" of the device until the Samsung logo appears on the display. Then press the "Power button" together with the "Volume up button", select the option "wipe data/factory reset" in the recovery menu that appears and confirm your selection by pressing the Power button again.
