Google Pixel: Models in chronological overview

As the developer of Android, Google has a leading role in the mobile market. In addition, there is the in-house hardare under the name Pixel. Since this has now been around for years, we give an overview of the models.

Catching up: Google wants to gain much larger market share with the Pixel phones.

Compared to the importance of Android, the Pixel phones are not quite as widespread. Nevertheless, the series is consistently continued and improved.

Zum Jahresende 2020 sieht die Bestandsaufnahme der Pixel-Modelle folgendermaßen aus:

• Pixel 3a / Pixel 3a XL (Mai 2019)
• Pixel 4 / Pixel 4 XL (Oktober 2019)
• Pixel 4a / Pixel 4a 5G (September 2020)
• Pixel 5 (Oktober 2020)

Verglichen mit anderen Smartphone-Reihen wie Galaxy von Samsung und Apples iPhones ist die Pixel-Familie damit noch recht jung, blickt allerdings schon auf ein ordentliches Portfolio zurück. Dieses wird auch in Zukunft fortgeführt, da die Marktanteile konstant gestiegen sind, auch wenn sie immer noch weit unter der Konkurrenz liegen.
