How do I uninstall programs on the Mac?

Deleting applications by drag & drop

1. Open the Finder via the icon in the Dock or in the menu bar.
2. Click on "Applications" in the left navigation.
3. Find the application you want to remove in the list and simply drag the icon to the Trash.
4. Finally empty the Trash.

Deleting programs via the Launchpad

Alternatively, you can also remove installed programs via the Launchpad, just follow these steps:

1. Call the Launchpad by clicking on the icon in the Dock or pressing the [F4] key.
