Windows: uninstall programs - how to do it

To do the various tasks on your PC or to pursue your hobbies, you usually need additional software. After some time, you may not need some programs anymore. If this is the case, Windows offers you a function to uninstall them.

How to uninstall programs in Windows

If you have installed too many programs on your computer, you can uninstall them using a Windows function. Usually, this will remove all the components of the software from your system. To uninstall the programs, only a few steps are necessary.

1. In the bottom left corner of your desktop, there is a search box in Windows 10. Enter "Control Panel" here. For other Windows versions, the procedure is similar.
2. Once you have opened the Control Panel, go to the item "Programs".
3. Then select the option "Programs and Features".
4. Now you will see a list of all programs installed on your system.
5. Find the program you want to uninstall and select it with a mouse click.
6. Then click the "Uninstall" button.
