How to rotate the sheet in LibreOffice?

If you want to adjust the orientation of a single page or that of the entire text document in LibreOffice, this works for example with the help of style sheets. Learn what settings you need to make in LibreOffice to switch between portrait and landscape orientation.

LibreOffice: set up landscape format

To rotate individual pages of your text document, you need to create a style.

1. Click on "View" in the navigation and then on "Style sheets". There, select the "Page Templates" option.
2. Right-click on "Default" and select "New...". Call up the "Manage" tab and name the template.
3. Select "Standard" from the drop-down menu for the "Follow template" item.
4. In the "Page" tab, place a check mark next to "Landscape".
5. Confirm with "OK".

Follow these steps to apply the template:

1. Now right-click on the page you want to rotate to landscape format and select the menu item "Paragraph". Es öffnet sich dann ein neues Fenster.
2. Wählen Sie den Reiter „Textfluss“ aus und aktiveren Sie den Haken bei „Einfügen“ und „Mit Seitenvorlage“.

1. Klicken Sie in der Navigation auf „Format“ und anschließend auf „Seite“.
2. Rufen Sie den Reiter „Seite“ auf und wählen Sie beim Punkt „Ausrichtung“ das „Querformat“ aus.
3. Bestätigen Sie Ihre Eingabe mit „OK“.
