Creating LibreOffice Posters: How easy it is

LibreOffice is a free alternative to Microsoft's Office that lets you create text, presentation, and spreadsheets. You can also create a poster with Libre Office. There are several tools available for this.

How easy it is to create a poster with LibreOffice

In LibreOffice you can create various print formats, including flyers and posters. This works best with Draw. You can also use Calc or Writer, but these tools can only create a maximum of one poster in A3.

1. Open the LibreOffice program Draw.
2. Click on "Format" at the top of the menu to open the options for the format. Now go on to "Page...".
3. In the window that now opens, you can select the desired format under "Paper Format". You have the choice between B4-6 and A0-6.
4. Have you selected your desired format, confirm the process by clicking "OK".
5. Now you can apply within Draw the desired images, text and other graphics on the surface.
6. When you finally want to print your poster, go to the top of "File" and then "Print".

Also in Writer and Calc, you can create a poster, but maximum in A3 format. To do this, simply go to "Format" and then further to "Page" and again to "Page". Anschließend können Sie Ihr Poster nach Ihren Wünschen gestalten und ausdrucken.
