Khaby Lame, the first, has staked everything on two fundamental factors: already viral videos, which he made fun of showing how absurd they were, and gestures, the only true universal language (in which Italians are absolute masters).
That's all it took to collect his first million followers, helped by the now well-known TikTok algorithm that gives creators enormous exposure and their videos a potentially viral circulation practically all the time.

Khaby Lame aims at the top, to oust Charli D'Amelio from her throne and, if you read the numbers, he can do it. Se ce la farà, allora il social dei balletti avrà un nuovo re, italiano, che non parla, che non balla e che nella sua bio dice “Se vuoi ridere sei nel posto giusto“.
