Xiaomi has presented in China a new model of wireless headphones, with active noise reduction and Bluetooth 5.2 connection.
For Xiaomi it's time for new headphones: these are the FlipBuds Pro, specimens with multiple qualities useful to take the place of the top of the range in the panorama of the proposals of the Chinese company. True wireless and with active noise cancellation, these earphones are not afraid to challenge the proposals of competitors already on the market.
At first they were called Noise Cancelling Headphone Pro but, after a few months, the manufacturer has decided to remove the veil of mystery that was around to show everyone the true face of these in ear from the high-level features. Made by a team created specifically, the first sample of the new series coming that - according to the anticipations of the well-informed in the industry - should replace the Air line, also has on its side an attractive design, with a glossy finish and a black charging case, with brand logo and LED light to verify charging. The latter is done via Usb Type-C cable quickly, or two hours of playback in just 5 minutes of connection to the mains.
Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro, technical specifications
First point, as already mentioned, is that of active noise cancellation (ANC): the reduction comes up to 40 dB, with three levels selectable according to the environment in which you are. The choice, in this case, is between the options that Xiaomi has called "Daily use", "office" and "travel".
Another detail to take into account is that of the Dual Device Intelligent Connection technology. Its usefulness is quickly explained: thanks to it you can share the same audio output with an additional device, allowing the connection of two distinct pairs of earbuds to the same smartphone, tablet or computer. In addition, it comes in handy when you need to make a switch between devices, allowing you to quickly switch between them.
Passing to more technical aspects, these headphones have available 11mm dynamic drivers, with chip made by Qualcomm in the QCC5151 model. Among the available audio codecs we find aptX Adaptive (which guarantees audio quality and low latency), AAC and SBC, to which is added the Bluetooth 5.2 protocol and the mode specifically for games that allows you to avoid audio delays.
Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro, price and launch date
The Xiaomi FlipBuds Pro earphones will make their official debut on the Chinese market next May 21, at a price of 799 yuan, or just over 100 euros. Currently, the manufacturer has not provided any information on the timing and pricing outside the motherland, so we will have to wait a little longer 'to be able to put hands on this tasty proposal in Italy.
