The eight episodes, inspired by Muccino's 2018 film of the same name, will be available in December: here's the exact date and how to see them
It's getting closer and closer the date of the debut of A casa tutti bene, the eight-episode TV series directed by Gabriele Muccino, who for the first time has taken charge of the direction of an episodic TV product. It is a remake of the film of the same name that was released in theaters in 2018, immediately achieving a resounding success.
The TV series, produced by Sky and Marco Belardi for Lotus Production, a company of Leone Film Group, was premiered at the Rome Film Festival as a special event out of competition. Soon, however, it will be possible to see it on the small screen and follow the events of the Ristuccia family once again. Each episode will be introduced by the original theme song by Lorenzo Cherubini, aka Jovanotti, entitled A casa tutti bene. This is the third collaboration between the singer and Gabriele Muccino after the great success of the previous ones, Baciami ancora and L'estate addosso.
The debut of A casa tutti bene on Sky and streaming
The television debut of A casa tutti bene will take place on December 20, 2021 on Sky Serie and streaming on NOW. Those who miss the first broadcast, however, should not despair: the episodes will then be available on demand on Sky and then you can catch up at any time.
A casa tutti bene: what is the TV series about
The plot has as its protagonist the Ristuccia family, which for 40 years has run the San Pietro restaurant in Rome. To take care of it are Carlo, his new partner Ginevra and his sister Sara. His brother Paolo, who had chosen to move to France to work in the entertainment industry but now, after a divorce, has decided to return to Italy to raise his 11-year-old son Giovanni, also returns to the family.
The situation, however, is not easy. Ginevra has never been accepted by the family and she does not tolerate Carlo's sentimental past, who has a daughter, Luna, and an ex-wife, Elettra. Sara, on the other hand, is betrayed by her partner, Diego.
The balance is definitely upset by an unexpected event: the Mariani, another branch of the family, claim a place in the business, threatening to bring to light a terrible secret from the past.
Actors and performers: a cast of excellence
The TV series boasts a cast of excellence. Laura Morante and Francesco Acquaroli play the roles of Alba and Pietro Ristuccia, owners of the San Pietro restaurant. Their children Carlo, Sara and Paolo will have the faces of Francesco Scianna, Silvia D'Amico and Simone Liberati.
Euridice Axen is Elettra, Carlo's ex-wife, while newcomer Sveva Mariani plays their daughter Luna, who is bound to the chef Manuel, played by Francesco Martino. In the role of Ginevra there is Laura Adriani. Antonio Folletto is Diego, while Paola Sotgiu, Valerio Aprea and Alessio Moneta play the members of the Mariani family.
Emma Marrone wears the shoes of Riccardo's partner, Luana. Milena Mancini is Beatrice, Sandro's companion. In the cast there are also the very young Federico Ielapi, Maria Chiara Centorami and Mariana Falace.
