Primati e curiosità degli Emmy 2021
The Boys strappa la prima nomination drama e Cobra Kai come miglior comedy. Mj Rodriguez of Pose nominated as best actress drama, becomes the first transgender woman to be in contention for this category.
The 18 nominations for Lovecraft Country seem really incredible, especially because this series was deleted from the schedule of Hbo that probably will review its choices after the night of September 19.
The surprise this year is the platform Disney + that after HBO and Netflix has 71 nominations that compared to last year is an important increase. Merit to the series The Mandalorian and WandaVision of Marvel that make an excellent contribution to the new renaissance of fantasy and science fiction that we have been missing since Lost and Game of Thrones.
Finally, one last curiosity: almost twenty years after Friends first aired, American actress Courteney Cox receives her first Emmy nomination: Friends: The Reunion is in fact in the running in the Outstanding Variety Special category and Cox is one of the show's executive producers, along with Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.
