Fortnite is back online again with the new Capitol o2. From the new map to the new Battle Pass, here are all the most important news
After being swallowed by a black hole, the world of Fortnite is back more alive and well than ever. They breathe a sigh of relief the millions of players around the world went into panic last Sunday when, trying to connect to the game servers, were literally glued to the screen to watch the astral phenomenon that has swallowed and annihilated forever the universe of Fortnite.
A live streaming lasted hours that allowed developers and technicians to prepare the field for the release of Chapter 2, which began a new phase of Fortnite. And so it was, Epic Games has officially launched Fortnite Chapter 2, which includes many new features regarding the Battle Royale mode and gameplay. The most important novelty certainly concerns the game map, completely overturned compared to the past, and the possibility to play water games and use speedboats to move.
Fortnite Chapter 2: the game map
New territories are the background to the battles of Fortnite Chapter 2. The men of Epic Games have created a new world, a new island characterized by no less than 13 never-before-seen areas and dominated by a series of fully navigable waterways. Unlike previous versions, players now have the option of using water vehicles to move on real river tracks.
Not only that, boats and speedboats can be used during combat as they are able to shoot. Plus in some places you can fish for hidden loot. Also along the waterways, players have the possibility to find and use gas cans and explosive drums and use them to their advantage during the game stages.
Fortnite Chapter 2: the main new features
Fortnite Chapter 2 includes new tactical options to hide from enemies or to attack opponents suddenly. In the Battle Royale mode, new forms of cooperation help players deal with opponents, such as adopting a new tool to heal their allies called "Bazooka to Bandages" or the ability to secure them by carrying them by weight. The new chapter also marks an important change in terms of weapons available to players, a sort of return to the origins of the game. Totally revised the arsenal now decidedly more minimal, with a system of equipment and weapons that can be optimized along the way using the resources to be collected during the game.
Fortnite Chapter 2 also introduces the new Battle Pass available at the price of 950 V-Buck and containing new items that can be used to customize your avatar and your weapons. Finally, in addition to better, clearer and sharper graphics than the previous version, Fortnite Chapter 2 will offer new options for its players to level up and collect more Experience Points.
