Italy, along with Bulgaria, is ready to host, from September 9 to 30, the Volleyball World Cup 2018 for one of the most anticipated sporting events for men's volleyball. Three weeks of emotions and sport in the arenas of Turin, Milan, Bologna, Florence, Rome and Bari.
On the Italian courts will compete, in addition to our national team, 23 countries divided into four groups. The first four nations of each group will access the second phase that will qualify the best six teams in the world for the final phase, called Final Six that with knockout clashes will determine who is the champion of the Volleyball World Cup 2018. Italy, considering that it will play at home, is considered among the favorites for the final victory, on a par with other battleships such as Russia, Brazil, France, Poland, United States and Serbia. Volleyball World Cup 2018: TV schedules
The Volleyball World Cup 2018 will be played in Italy and Bulgaria from September 9 to 30. The competitions will have different schedules, although in most cases the four-group phase includes matches from 4 pm until 8:30 pm. Except for France-China that, for reasons of TV rights with the Asian country, will be broadcast at 1 pm on Wednesday, September 12. Semifinals and finals will be played in Turin from September 29 to 30, with the hope of seeing the Azzurri engaged in both challenges.
