Task Manager Shortcut: Show Running Processes

Call the Task Manager quite simply via a shortcut key to display running processes. Especially when programs do not run completely error-free or a process cannot be terminated in any other way, the task manager is a helpful function.

Easily invoke Task Manager via keyboard shortcut

  1. From time to time, you may need to force close a program via keyboard shortcut using Task Manager. This is necessary when a program can no longer be closed.
  2. To open the Task Manager, you have two different options. Either you start the Task Manager with the following key combination: [ctrl]+[alt]+[unf]. Windows 10 then opens a menu with the options "Lock", "Switch user", "Log off" and "Task manager". Select the Task Manager to start it.
  3. Alternatively, hold down the key combination [ctrl]+[shift]+[esc] for a few seconds. The task manager will start automatically after a few seconds.

In Android, you also have a kind of task manager, through which you can close all running apps.The keyboard shortcut through which you can find this function depends on your smartphone model. You can certainly find the task manager by navigating to "Apps/Applications" via the "Settings". Tap on "All apps" in the upper left corner. Select "Enabled" and all currently active apps will be displayed. Unnecessary or annoying apps can be deactivated or even deleted altogether.
