What to do if you forget your T-Online email password

Among the many login details to remember, most people forget one of their passwords now and then. If your emails are in a T-Online account, you can easily reset the password via the customer center.

If you ever forget your email password, you can set up a new one in the T-Online customer center in this way:

1. Call up the T-Online.de page via your browser.
2. Click on the "Customer Center" tab in the top right corner.
3. Select the login button in the top right corner. The login page of the customer center appears.
4. Press the blue highlighted option "Other login option".
5. Now you get to the page for the "Identification".
6. Enter your email address. Alternatively, you can also use your stored phone number, your username or your access number.
7. Enter the displayed number combination or word sequence at "Enter code".
8. Select "Next". In the next step you will change your password.

Last steps to successfully reset the password

You will now be asked for your personal password. This can be found in the T-Online documents you received when you set up your Telekom connection. Enter the password and click "Next" again. Then enter a new password. Make sure to select a password that is as secure as possible with at least 8 characters, upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters. From now on you can log in with your new password.
