Alexa: Reminder - so you don't forget any more appointments

The voice assistant Alexa from Google can help you in various areas in everyday life. If Alexa is connected to the Internet, you can use it to make purchases or request information. If you would like to be reminded of a specific appointment, you can set it via the app.

How to set a reminder on Alexa

Google's smart speakers allow you to perform actions by voice command. So you can make purchases or play music from your smartphone. To do this, however, you first need the Alexa app. You use it to set up the speaker and connect it to various apps on your smartphone. If you would like to be informed by Alexa about an upcoming appointment, then you can also set this reminder via the app.
  1. Open the Alexa app on your smartphone. Alternatively, you can also go the way via the Alexa website.
  2. Go to the menu and select the option "Reminders and Alarm Clock.
  3. Tap here on the tab "Reminders".
  4. Here you now have the option to set a new reminder via the button "Add reminder".
  5. In the following display, you will be shown various setting options.
  6. Set the exact date and time of the reminder here. In addition, it is possible to select whether this should be regular or only once.
