Star Citizen Free Fly 2020: The first date is set - all info

The Free Fly events are used by Star Citizen to recruit new players, but the existing fanbase also gets its money's worth. Finally, the first event of this kind is set for 2020 and we have all the info.

Testing for free - and for everyone: the Invictus Launch Week will start in May 2020.

Star Citizen is currently in alpha version 3.9, during which the free week for old and new players will also take place.

Star Citizen 2020: free-fly event still starts in May

The first free-fly event in 2020 will take place under the name Invictus Launch Week:

• The period: May 22 to June 1, 2020.
• You can find the event in Area18 on ArcCorp. The location of the event is the same area as it was at the end of 2019 for IAE 2949. You can get to the exhibition area via signage as soon as you are in Area18.
• The schedule will also be similar: every day you can rent and fly ships from one or more brands for free. Represented are all the well-known names such as Origin Jumpworks GmbH, Aegis Dynamics, Roberts Space Industries, Drake Interplanetary and Co.
• The event is particularly interesting for newcomers who have not yet invested any money in Star Citizen - these are also allowed to access namely fully. For this, only a free registration is necessary.

Veterans, on the other hand, can use the Invictus week to try out a wide range of ships for free. From experience, there will be a large crowd, so an active happening on the servers is guaranteed, which will enhance the experience.
