How to create a folder on Android 9

Your Android smartphone allows you to install as many apps as your internal storage allows. However, once you reach a certain number of apps, it becomes difficult to keep track of them on your smartphone. For this reason, the operating system offers you the option to create multiple folders and thus sort your apps according to certain topics. This way, it is possible to create order on your smartphone and find the apps you want faster. To create a folder on Android, only a few steps are necessary.
  1. To be able to create a folder, it is important that there are several apps on your home screen.
  2. Tap then on an app and hold it until you have the option to move the application.
  3. Drag the app to another app. Now a folder will be created automatically and the two apps will be stored in it.
  4. If you want to change the name of the folder, tap on "Untitled folder". Nun können Sie einen neuen Namen eingeben.
  5. Auch die Reihenfolge der Apps innerhalb des Ordners können Sie nach Ihren Wünschen durch Ziehen der Apps ändern.
