What are Echo Buttons - and what is their purpose?

Echo Buttons are primarily aimed at game-loving users:

• Echo Buttons are add-on devices that have to be connected to an Alexa device such as Echo Dot.
• After that, they serve as input devices for applications such as interactive Alexa games. This is possible thanks to the large, glowing buttons on the top. Quiz and reaction games are thus the primary intended purpose of the devices, but not the only one.
• In addition, the Echo Buttons are capable of starting smart home routines.

The Echo Buttons are available in a double pack from Amazon. They don't require a power connection, as they each run on two AAA batteries.
