Samsung Galaxy A70 inductive charging - is it possible?

The Samsung Galaxy A70 (2019) is charged via the integrated USB-C port as standard. As with the current models of the S series and the Galaxy Note series, you do not have to do without inductive charging on the Galaxy A70.

Quick charging instead of wireless charging

Instead of wireless charging, Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A70 with an adaptive fast charging feature.

• You can use the fast charging feature if your charger supports either the Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 standard or Samsung's in-house fast charging feature. If you charge the Galaxy A70 with a normal charger, the function is not available.
• In order to save the battery during fast charging, it is important that you keep the screen turned off.
• If you want to increase the charging speed, you can either turn off the Galaxy A70 or activate the flight mode.

Retrofit wireless charging

For some smartphones, there is the option to retrofit inductive charging via a special kit or case. For this, you can, for example, buy the Wireless Fast Charging Pad from the official Samsung store, which supports wireless fast charging. To use the pad with the Samsung Galaxy A70, you also need a wireless charging adapter that you connect to your smartphone via the USB-C port. You connect the pad to a power source via the cable. Then, place the Samsung Galaxy A70 on the pad to let it charge automatically.
