The numerous cosmetic items in Valorant are unlocked in stages. Missions are a valuable tool for this.

Valorant: Using missions for fast progress

You can see the current missions by hovering the mouse pointer over the icon at the very top left of the Valorant menu. The system is quickly explained:

• For completing a mission, you get a fixed amount of experience points.
• The number of experience points depends on the scope and difficulty of the mission.
• Missions affect all areas of the game, such as a predetermined amount of total damage, a minimum number of games completed or the use of agent skills.
• The time limits are important, as there are daily and weekly missions. The timer you see is for the daily missions.
• Daily missions are faster to complete, consequently the weekly missions earn more experience points as they require more work.

By taking a look at the missions, you can target them in matches. The extra experience points accelerate progress tremendously and therefore should not be disregarded.
