Convert JPG to PDF - change the format

If you work on a PC every day, you will encounter numerous file formats. Usually, you need to convert them to another format if you want to continue using the document. For example, if you need a JPG as a PDF, the conversion can be done without any software, because Windows already provides all the functions for you.

Convert your JPG to PDF

If you want to convert a file to another format, you can use a third-party software, but you need to download it first. Also, many websites offer that you can upload the file in a certain format, convert it and then download it in the desired format. If you use Windows, you already have the required function available.

1. Go to the JPG file you want to convert in File Manager.
2. Right-click on it and select "Open With" from the menu.
3. Select the "Paint" program from the list to open the image in the software.
4. In Paint, go to the top left of "File" > "Save As".
5. If you specify a new file name here, the original file will not be deleted and you get a copy in a new format.
6. Write at the end of the file name .pdf.
7. Confirm with "Save".

Alternatively, you can simply rename the file in the File Manager. Select "Rename" in step 2 and change ".jpg" to ".pdf". The file will then be converted automatically. Here, however, you change the original file and do not create a copy.
