Star Citizen: Alpha patch 3.10 features at a glance

After the alpha phase with version number 4 of Star Citizen was postponed indefinitely, patch 3.10 went live in August 2020. We give an overview of the contents of the update.

A project for the ages? Star Citizen has now arrived in the alpha version 3.10.

Around Star Citizen recently entwine even more question marks than already. For example, there has been no sign of life from CIG founder and figurehead Chris Roberts since last year; the topic of Squadron 42 is currently also shrouded in silence.

Star Citizen: These innovations brought Alpha 3.10

Patch 3.10 came just at the right time to calm some heated tempers. Here is the overview of the contents of the update:
  • After a long development time, the NPC bartenders are now finally functional.
  • The approach to landing zones has been revised and is now more clearly defined thanks to aisles.
  • The currency aUEC can now be traded or transferred between players.
  • In New Babbage there are additional stores.
  • The flight system has been revised specifically with regard to flight within the atmosphere. This affects all ships and is thus a very important change.
  • For mining fans, there is now a ground vehicle for this job, namely the Greycat ROC, which costs $50 in the store.
  • Dead or lifeless bodies can now be pulled.
In addition, there are many minor revisions, such as in the interface of the ships and graphics refinements on the planet surface. Patch 3.10 is live in the PU and can be tested by all players.
