Sign out from Instagram: How it works

If you don't want to use the Instagram app right now, you have the option to log out of your account on iOS as well as Android and PC. This can be useful if multiple people have access to your devices.

How to unsubscribe from Instagram?

If you want to unsubscribe from your Instagram account for Android and iOS, you can do it in the app and on Instagram's website.Unsubscribe from the Instagram app:

1. Open Instagram in the app and go to your profile. To do so, tap on your profile picture at the bottom.
2. Tap on the three horizontal stripes in the top right corner.
3. Scroll all the way down the page and open "Settings".
4. Sign out by scrolling all the way down and selecting "Sign out".

Sign out from the Instagram website:

1. Open the Instagram website.
2. Click the little man in the top right corner to open your profile.
3. Click the gear icon to the right of Edit Profile.
4. A popup window will open and you can select "Sign out."

Change password to sign out from all devices

If you can't remember which devices you signed in on, you can also create a new password. After you confirm the password change, Instagram will suggest you to log out from all devices. Confirm this. This will ensure that no strangers have access to your account.
