If you don't like the default color of the taskbar, you have the option to change it. The quickest way to do this is via the Windows settings, which you can access by pressing "Windows key" + "I". In the settings, navigate to "Personalization" > "Colors" and select a color. In the same window, activate the entry "Start, Taskbar and Info Center" to apply the color change.Windows 10: How to change only the color of the taskbar
However, if you have selected a new color using the procedure described above, it will not only be used for the taskbar, but for the entire system. To really only adjust the color of the taskbar, further changes in the Windows Registry are necessary.- For this, first open the Run dialog by pressing the "Windows key" + "R" keys.
- There, enter the command "regedit" and confirm with the "Enter" key to open the Registry.
