Netflix: Change profile picture - how it works

By changing the profile picture of your Netflix account, you can personalize your profile. Even if there are multiple profiles in your account, setting your own profile picture is useful. We explain how to select a new picture on different devices here.

How to change your profile picture at Netflix

Since you can create up to five profiles at the same time at Netflix, it is recommended to select a different profile picture for each profile. For this purpose, Netflix provides you with a large selection of images from which you can choose your profile picture.

1. If you are using Netflix as an app on your mobile device, please open the app and navigate to "More" > "Manage Profiles".
2. Then select one of the available profiles, tap on the current profile picture and choose a new picture.
3. Finally click on "Save" to apply the change.
4. Alternatively, changing the profile picture is also possible via the Netflix website by logging in there and going to "Profile selection" > "Manage profiles".
5. Click on the "pencil icon" in the profile picture of the corresponding profile and select a new picture before clicking "OK".

In addition to using Netflix in the browser and as a mobile app, Netflix can also be used on streaming sticks, game consoles and the Smart TV. To set a new profile picture on these devices, please launch the Netflix app, select your profile and click the "pencil icon". Then click the "Profile Picture" button and select a new picture before confirming with "Yes" and "Done".
