How to show or hide the Excel menu?

If you want to hide the menu in Excel to increase the overview or if you just want to show it again because you accidentally hid it, it's easy to do with the key combination "Ctrl + F1".
  1. This key combination works in every Microsoft Office program. So you can also hide the menu in Word or PowerPoint.
  2. To show the menu again, you just have to press the keys "Ctrl + F1" again.
  3. You can also hide the entire ribbon. To do this, simply click on the icon next to the minimize dash at the top and select "Automatically hide ribbon" from the drop-down menu.
  4. If you want to show them all again, click on the three small dots that have now appeared in the bar at the top instead of the arrow icons. Wählen Sie dann „Registerkarte und Befehle anzeigen“.
