How to reset the Galaxy Fold?

If you want to sell your Galaxy Fold or have software problems with the device, a hard reset can help. This is the complete resetting of the device to factory settings. 1. Open the "Settings" of your Galaxy Fold.
  2. Then select the menu item "Backup and Reset" here.
  3. Now tap on the option Reset to factory settings.
  4. Confirm the selection via the "Reset device" button.
  5. Finally tap on "Erase all".
  6. The process may take some time. Once it is complete, the device will reboot and you can set it up again.
  7. Alternatively, you have the option to reset the device via the recovery mode. You can get into this by pressing the Volume Down button and the Power button at the same time until the Samsung logo appears. Then press the power button and the volume up button directly.
  8. Once the recovery mode has been started, you can select the option "Wipe data/factory reset".
