Your Galaxy Z Fold 2 should be reset both in the event of software problems and if you sell your smartphone. In doing so, you reset the Android device to its original state, meaning that after this process, the factory settings are restored and your unsaved data is removed. Therefore, it is recommended that you save all your data in the form of a backup on your computer or another medium in advance. After that, you can perform the reset in a few steps.

1. First, open the "Settings" of your smartphone.
2. There you navigate to the option "General Management" and select it.
3. Now click the item "Reset".
4. Now select the tab "Reset to factory settings" from the sub-items.
5. To start the reset, finally tap the "Reset" button.
6. Now it may take a while until the process is finished. If this is done, then your Galaxy Z Fold 2 is restarted.
7. An additional alternative to reset your smartphone is the "Recovery Mode". To do this, press the "Volume Down" and "Power" buttons simultaneously until the Samsung logo appears. Directly afterwards, you must now press the "Volume up" and "Power" buttons.
